What is a Business Coach?
A Business Coach is often interpreted as a Consultant. However there is a difference.

A Business Coach does not tell you what and how to do something. A Business Coach assists you by providing resources, brainstorming, and un-biased points of view and then teaches you how to develop the answers and plans you need to reach your ultimate goal.

This method of "consulting" ensures that you understand the plan, know the objective and how you are going to get there. You are executing your plan because you developed it; you know it, you believe in it, not because someone told you that this was the way it had to be.

To maximize business potential, management must be consistently adding real economic value to the business. At The Accounting Place, we can help you analyze current performance, establish realistic plans and budgets, set both financial and non-financial performance indicators and then monitor your progress. This is crucial in sustaining a profitable and growing business.

Many times business owners get tied up in the day-to-day operation of the business and forget to look at the big picture. As much as your financial statements tell you where you have been, Business Coaching, combined with a constantly evolving business plan, tell you where you are going. Much like driving from Toronto to California, you know the general direction you must go, but you would still use a roadmap.

Your business plan is that roadmap, the Business Coach is the guy giving you directions and helping you find the way to where you want to be.

The Accounting Place will help you monitor where you have been, (financial statements), design, and update, and maintain your business plan, (roadmap), and be there to help you when you get lost. (Business Coach).
